Hi, ISE'ers! I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten about ISE. I had some personal tragedy in August, and I'm now away on holiday for all of September. I *will* launch ISE8 in early October as soon as I get home again ... and the theme will be the International Year of Natural Fibres (before it's gone)! Thanks for your patience....

THAT'S A WRAP .... or a scarf ... or... :-)

Believe it or not, the last of the scarves in this exchange has now been received. That took a looooong time -- too long, IMO, and I'll 'tighten it up' next time. I know one thing ... if we had to find an 'angel' to take your place in this exchange, you'll be sitting the next one out.

As this was the first time I've hosted this exchange, I learned a LOT, and I know I can do a better job next time around. Right now I'm up to my you-know-what producing a large local fibre event, but I'll launch ISE8 as soon as I recover from that -- so look for an announcement around the 1st of July or so!

Thanks again to everyone who participated and 'followed the rules' -- it was fun!

Today was another lovely mail-day - just look what the mailman brought me!! This lovely scarf all the way from Skipper in Canada!

A long red scarf - and it really looked "Jane Austen-ish" as I wanted it - and in a lovely warm red color. Thanks a lot!!

The package also contained two skeins of elann Baby Lace Merino in a beautiful blue color, milk chocolate, and a notebook I will use to write patterns and my remark to patterns in.

Moderator Question

Will people who did NOT post about the scarf they received get to participate in another swap?

I got my dear friend to participate in the swap and she hasn't heard one word from the person she sent her beautiful scarf to on the blog OR over personal email. I understand people are busy and whatnot but this just seems rude.
